Who we are
This website is operated by Apex Acquisitions, the real estate acquisitions business of Nathan Hughes, focused on Huntsville, Willis, Conroe, Montgomery, Houston, and surrounding Texas communities.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to type or upload into a form. Every form asks for your name and email; most also ask for a phone number so Nathan can reach you.
- Private Buyers List: contact details, optional entity name, investing strategies, experience, purchase timeline, funding approach, whether proof of funds is ready, and one or more buy boxes (locations, price range, property criteria).
- Join the Team: contact details, city/state, time zone, experience, skills, current work, availability, motivation, and goals. We do not ask about age, race, religion, sex, national origin, disability, family status, or other protected characteristics — please do not include them.
- Owner property submission: contact details, property address and features, condition, occupancy, timeline, asking price (optional), reason for selling (optional), and photos or documents you upload.
- Wholesaler / JV submission: contact details, company, property details, contract status, prices, estimates, key dates, access notes, and uploaded photos or contracts.
- Property referral: your contact details, what you know about the property's location and condition, whether you know the owner (and, only if you choose, the owner's contact), and uploaded photos.
- Contact form: your name, email, optional phone and tracking code, and your message.
Submitted information about other people (for example, an owner's contact in a referral) should only be shared if you have a legitimate reason to share it.
How we use it
- To review your submission and contact you about it.
- To show you its status when you enter your tracking code.
- To keep an internal record of what was submitted, changes made by staff, and status history.
- To prevent abuse, such as repeated guessing of tracking codes.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or automated profiling.
Cookies, tracking codes & technical data
- No analytics, advertising pixels, or session replay scripts are installed on this site by Apex.
- No cookies are set for public visitors by the site's own code. Administrators who sign in have their session kept in their browser's storage so they stay signed in.
- Tracking codes are long random codes that work like a password. Anyone with your code can see its status, so keep it private. We remove codes from the address bar so they do not end up in browser history.
- Tracking lookups: to stop code-guessing, we store a one-way scrambled version of your connection's IP address with each lookup and delete it after 24 hours.
- Fonts: page fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
- Hosting logs: like any website, our hosting provider processes standard request information (IP address, browser, pages requested) to deliver and protect the site and may keep basic visit statistics.
Because none of these are used for advertising or cross-site tracking, there is no cookie banner.
Dialed In (planned, not connected)
Apex plans to connect this website to Dialed In, the system it uses to manage deals and buyer access. That connection is not active. No website data is currently sent to Dialed In. Before it is turned on, we will update this policy to describe what is shared.
Security
- Uploaded files are kept in private storage and are never available at a public link; administrators view them through short-lived links.
- Submission data can only be read by signed-in administrators; database rules block everyone else.
- Uploads are limited to JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, and PDF files up to 20 MB.
- The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission.
How long we keep it
Tracking-lookup records are deleted after 24 hours. Apex has not yet adopted a fixed retention period for submissions, uploaded files, and contact messages; they are kept until deleted by an administrator or in response to a deletion request. We will update this section when a schedule is set.
Access, correction & deletion requests
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you submitted by using our contact form and choosing a privacy request. Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to make these requests; we will respond to them regardless.
To confirm a request is really from you, we will reply to the email address on your submission and may ask for your tracking code. We will not ask for government ID or other sensitive information just to verify you. Some records may need to be kept where the law requires it, and we will tell you if that applies.
Marketing emails & texts
Submitting a form asks Nathan to contact you about that submission. It does not sign you up for marketing. This website does not send emails, texts, or automated calls. If we ever offer promotional messages, we will ask for your separate permission first and include a way to opt out.
Children
This site is for adults conducting real estate business. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and how to reach us
When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions or requests: use our contact form, which goes directly to Apex's private inbox in the site.
